This event is being conducted by Mr.Subhash to raise funds for their next effort towards employing blind and providing lively hood.
Mr.subhash is born blind and with lot of struggle he is employed (8 Board Telephone Operator in Andhra bank,Koti). He works towards educating and employing visually challenged to help them live independently. He helped around 200 visually challenged for their lively hood.
He was Gen.Secretary for A.P Federation of Blind. During this tenure,he went around rural areas and realized that visually challenged in rural areas dont have any exposure and opportunities available.
He runs a hostel in Kothapet for visually challenged girls/women who dont have any kind of support. He also teaches them vocational courses. Currently he is supporting around 20 women in this hostel.
Their team manages pocket money and expenses by making and selling Agarbathis. He also helps those visually challenged people to get married. As the expenses are growing, they would like to start another small scale industry of "Chalk piece making" which would require an amount of 1 and half lakhs.
This event is being conducted to raise funds for their next small scale industry.
